Through a blend of lectures, hands-on exercises, attendees will learn the fundamentals of blueprint reading, enabling them to navigate through various sections of construction drawings with confidence. The course is ideal for installers, estimators and other construction professionals new to blueprint reading or seeking to refresh their foundational skills. No prior experience with construction drawings is necessary. The course will be delivered through a combination of interactive lectures, practical exercises and group discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to work with actual construction drawings to apply their learning in a realistic context. Course objectives:
- Understanding Construction Documents: Learn the purpose and importance of construction documents in the building process. Understand how these documents serve as a communication tool among architects, engineers, contractors and clients.
- Exploring Different Sections of Drawings: Dive into the various sections of construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections and details. Understand the role and significance of each section in providing a comprehensive view of the construction project.

Anastasia Adams is the National Estimating Manager for Diverzify. An army veteran, Anastasia has over 12 years in the construction industry.
