• FCICA will host Metropolitan Ceramics product webinar in July

FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, announced their July product promotional webinar featuring Metropolitan Ceramics.
FCICA invites you to join us on July 25, 2109 at 11 am EST, for a free informative webinar featuring Metropolitan Ceramics. Metropolitan Ceramics will be presenting an overview of their quarry tile. According to Metropolitan Ceramics, “Metropolitan Ceramics® quarry tile is high quality, unglazed ceramic tile designed for use in the most demanding commercial applications. The extruded, ½” thick tiles are offered in a variety of earth tone colors and feature a slip-resisting surface. Metropolitan Ceramics’ quarry tile is used throughout the United States and abroad. Metropolitan is the ceramic tile of choice for commercial kitchens and other dense traffic areas subject to spills and moisture. The tiles are low absorption and resist chipping, impact, and abrasion.” They will discuss where Metropolitan Ceramics quarry tiles are used, how they are installed, and how they are helping flooring contractors save time and money. Since every FCICA webinar is interactive, you’ll get the chance to ask questions during the LIVE Q&A at the end of the session.
If you cannot make the LIVE webinar, register anyway and we’ll send you the recording. The recorded session will also be featured on FCICA’s website www.fcica.com, and housed on the FCICA YouTube channel. About Metropolitan Ceramics
Located in Canton (Stark County), Ohio, Ironrock manufactures high quality indoor/outdoor unglazed ceramic quarry tile and thin brick. Ironrock uses Ohio clays and shales that are considered to be some of the best in the country. Ironrock has three product lines – Metropolitan Ceramics®, METROBRICK®, and Royal Thin Brick®. Ironrock’s tile and thin brick products are manufactured using an extrusion process – very similar to full brick manufacturing. With extrusion, the material is forced through a die and cut. Extrusion creates a tight/dense body and a very durable product. Once extruded, the low absorption tiles and bricks are sent through a drier and then hard fired in tunnel kilns. Ironrock combines technically advanced production with an over 150-year history of brick and tile manufacturing to give customers the highest quality products, delivered on time, and within budget.
