FCICA to host webinar on Recycled Rubber
FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, continues their live online educational series with a webinar on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. EST. Graham Capobianco, Technical Director at Capri Collections, will present Intro to Recycled Rubber. A live Q&A will follow the presentation.
This webinar is designed to help design teams better understand recycled rubber flooring. To do this, we will learn how the product is constructed and what it’s intended use is. First, we will discuss the raw materials and chemical composition of recycled rubber to better understand the material. Next, we will discuss how recycled rubber flooring contributes to global sustainability objectives. Following that, we will examine how recycled rubber flooring contributes to the health, safety and wellness of end users and building occupants. Finally, we will discuss the proper application and usage of recycled rubber. This will include finish selection as well as proper short-term and long-term maintenance, in order to ensure the long-term success of recycled rubber flooring installations.
