• CIM Continuing Education Credits FAQ

  • To maintain your CIM certification, you must obtain at least thirty (30) new hours of approved professional development related to the flooring industry or project management.

    What types of continuing education credits are available? Credits may be obtained from FCICA or other industry sources, such as:

     Educational sessions at FCICA Convention and Mid-Year meetings
     Educational sessions at other flooring industry conventions and meetings
     FCICA monthly educational webinars- FREE to FCICA members
     Other flooring industry educational webinars
     Construction industry educational webinars
     FCICA monthly product webinars- FREE to ALL attendees
     Manufacturer or distributor product webinars
     Manufacturer trainings
     Company trainings or seminars
     Project management seminars or courses CEU submission


    How do I get credit for my CEU's? Submit the completed CIM Program credit submission form and required documentation to FCICA within one (1) month of the training session to FCICA via email kelly@fcica.com, fax 248-661-5018 or regular mail 7439 Millwood Drive, West Bloomfield, MI 48322.

    You may submit any CEU to FCICA for review of credit status. The CIM Program reserves the right to refuse any CEU that does not comply with required criteria. Consult your CIM Candidate Handbook for more information on continuing education requirements.
